Amorario privacy

While you build the page

What you type and the photos you pick are stored only on your device (in the browser, with localStorage and IndexedDB) until you publish. The preview is built on the same device.

Your WhatsApp (or other) chat

If you open an exported WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or Messenger chat, the file is read on your device and never sent to any server. We take a few numbers and dates from it (for example the day of your first message, or how many messages you sent). Only the stats you tick are published; the text of the first message only if you choose it. The chat is not stored. Amorario is not affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta or Telegram.

When you publish

When you publish, our server (Cloudflare) stores the page text, the photos (shrunk on your phone before upload) and the chat stats you chose. Anyone with the link or the QR code can see the page. The link is long and random, and the page is marked so search engines don’t list it, but it isn’t password-protected: share it only with the people you want.

So you can edit or delete the page, we give you a private key; we store only a one-way hash (SHA-256) of it. You can delete the page at any time from the app or with your private edit link; deleting it erases the text and the photos.

Reports

If someone reports a page, we store the reason, the comment and the email they type (if any), with the date and rough country. We use it only to review the page.

Buying

Once purchases are available, payment is handled by Creem (creem.io), our reseller. We receive a random purchase code, the order number, the product and the amount. So you can restore the purchase and your links on another device, we keep a one-way hash (SHA-256) of the email you paid with, not the email itself. We never receive your card details.

Analytics and cookies

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and only shows anonymous totals. The site uses a few technical cookies to remember your language (am_lang, am_choice, am_geo, am_paylang). If the page has a song, the YouTube or Spotify player loads from those services, which apply their own policies. No ads.
